Call 911 first. If a person may be hurt or in danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) before doing anything with a TyraTag tag. TyraTag adds notification, never replaces emergency services.
1. We are not an emergency service
No dispatch; not connected to 911, EMS, police, or fire in any way.
2. Notification is best-effort
Messages travel over carriers and networks we don’t control, to owner-entered info we can’t verify. No guarantee of delivery, timeliness, being seen, or action. Never wait for or rely on a TyraTag notification when a person needs help.
3. Not a medical device; not medical advice
Not evaluated by Health Canada, the FDA, or any regulator. Medical info shown on a tag page is entered and maintained solely by the owner; may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date; is for information only and must never delay, replace, or override professional care.
4. Owner responsibility
Owners are responsible for the accuracy of emergency contacts and published medical info, and for keeping both current.
