SMS & Messaging Terms

TyraTag (“10FORTY3 GROUP”) sends transactional and safety text messages only: (a) notifications to tag owners when a tag is scanned or a finder sends a message; (b) one-time notices and safety notifications to emergency contacts an owner has designated; (c) account and service messages (verification, consent confirmation). We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

• Owners opt in to tag-alert texts by checking an unchecked box when they enable text notifications for their account: “I agree to receive account and tag-alert text messages from TyraTag at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
• Emergency contacts are added by an owner who attests the contact agreed. Before any safety notification, we send a one-time notice identifying TyraTag and the owner, explaining the program, and stating: “Reply STOP to never receive messages from TyraTag.” A STOP is permanently suppressed and survives deletion and re-adding.
• Finders are not enrolled and receive no texts from us.

Varies with tag activity (typically a small number per month; more during an active incident).

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply STOP(or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPT OUT) — one final confirmation, then nothing further. Owners can also disable SMS in Settings; if an emergency contact opts out we can’t notify them, and your dashboard shows their status.

Your number is used solely to deliver this program. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text-message services acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
